VELA does not exist. It is an AI operations platform, built to work out what a dense product interface looks like when the data is the design. Status, incidents and timelines that stay readable at speed. Density without noise is the hard part of any product UI, and it only shows itself once the whole thing is built rather than mocked.
What I set out to do
- A product surface where the data is the design, not decoration around it.
- Dense status, incident and timeline views that stay readable at a glance.
- Built rather than mocked, because density problems do not appear in a flat comp.
