Lightrom is a VR and photonics therapy from Conkemp Innovations LLP. A short session in a headset that lifts mood, and nobody has to talk about anything. Selling that to NHS trusts, police services and universities means the site has to read calm and credible, never hyped. So I laid it out the way a buyer thinks: what it is, how it helps, the benefits, who it is for, and how to get in touch.

What they asked for

  • Keep the colour palette strictly NHS-aligned while still feeling modern.
  • Convey benefits without revealing proprietary light-frequency details.
  • Zero forms (client preference) but still a clear conversion path.
  • WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility and sub-1.5 s mobile load time.

What came out of it

  • Built & launched in 5 working days (50 % deposit → preview → go-live).
  • Lighthouse: 98 desktop / 92 mobile; CLS 0.02.
  • Client recorded a Loom walkthrough and sent one-round colour tweaks, applied same-day.
